Visvanathan教授供职于亚洲理工学院(Asian Institute of Technology，AIT)，曾任法国Sophia Antipolis项目国际水资源管理培训中心顾问和Sophia Antipolis项目亚洲分部工程师，法国巴黎环境规划署工业与环境办公室顾问。Visvanathan教授一直致力于膜生物反应器技术在水处理、废水处理、清洁生产、固体废弃物处理等领域的应用研究，并在Journal of Membrane Science、Bioresource Technology、Desalination等国际期刊发表论文100多篇论文。
报告简介：
Membrane bioreactors have since also been seen as cost-effective technologies for polluted surface water treatment. Their use in removal of organic pollutants have been most commendable. The first part of this presentation traces the research activities developed at AIT, Bangkok, Thailand during the past 25 years, how the research activities are progressively moved from wastewater treatment to water treatment. The second part of this presentation gives in detailed technical presentation on our current research activities and direction related MBR for surface water treatment.
